About this experience
A private 4-day / 3-night expedition in La Ventana and El Sargento, offered on request with prior reservation. It combines freediving instruction, responsible spearfishing, marine wildlife encounters and local gastronomy built around the catch of the day.
No prior experience is needed — full instruction is provided starting from beginner level (Spear Level 1). Ideal for couples, families and private groups.
Day 1 — Orientation, freediving & spearfishing fundamentals
- 5:00 AM departure aboard a private panga, with a safety briefing and introduction to breath-hold techniques, equalization and equipment handling
- Spear Level 1 session along coastal reefs and protected waters near El Sargento
- Return to shore for fish cleaning and preparation
- Catch & Cook lunch — fresh sashimi and ceviche prepared on the beach with the morning's catch
- Free afternoon to relax and explore La Ventana
Day 2 — Marine safari & blue water spearfishing
- 5:00 AM early departure heading offshore
- Marine safari in search of dolphins, mobula rays, sea turtles and seasonal pelagic life
- Spearfishing session focused on pelagic or larger reef species
- Catch & Cook at a local venue or beach setup — a chef prepares your catch with local styles, from grilled fish to gourmet fish tacos
Day 3 — Jacques Cousteau Island expedition (Cerralvo Island)
- 5:00 AM departure towards Cerralvo Island
- Multi-activity expedition around key island spots — snorkeling along volcanic walls and vibrant reefs
- Ethical spearfishing tailored to your group's skill level
- Closing Catch & Cook — a beachside feast built around the day's catch
Day 4 — Morning session & check-out
- Optional short morning dive session or photo marine safari before departure
- 11:00 AM end of services and check-out
